Certified Experts of All Things BBQ

At the heart of each one of our restaurants, you’ll find a certified Pitmaster constantly sharpening their skills. Cuts of meat. Cooking times and temperatures. Sauces and rubs. You name it, they know it. But this doesn’t happen overnight. Our Pitmasters go through an intensive program to learn the science of smoking from some of BBQ’s best. They compete in BBQ competitions and go head-to-head with other Pitmasters before earning their spot behind our smokers.

Sonny’s BBQ franchisees have the full backing and support of Sonny’s BBQ HQ marketing. We provide a local marketing toolbox of promotions and activations throughout the year. In addition, we tell the Sonny’s BBQ brand story through regional TV and radio spots, out-of-home and in-house ads, digital and social media. By highlighting the real stories of our Pitmasters, showing off delicious BBQ and promoting BBQ culture, the ads showcase the authenticity of our food and brand.

High Tech Tools

We don’t just use technology for guest behavioral analysis, remote restaurant management systems and online ordering, we utilize high tech tools to support franchisees internally as well. Station 68 is our online communication portal where you can instantly access our latest news and notifications, marketing and training materials, and so much more. We also use push notifications through Station 68, as well as text, email and more.
